3 statement earring styles I can't live without

Statement earrings have been

Vintage Gold Earrings

I've always had a thing for gold jewellery.  I love how warm-toned metal looks on my skin, whereas silver tends to blend right in.

Let me tell ya, there is never a shortage of gold earrings at the thrift shop.  In fact, almost my entire collection of gold earrings is thrifted.  Each pair cost between $3-$8 dollars — which is a steal.

By no means are these real gold, costume FTW but they're also significantly better quality than discount jewellery you would buy at H&M or Forever 21.

The pair I'm wearing in the photo above are my favourite as of late!  Oversized gold earrings are my go-to jewellery choice as they pretty much go with everything.

Fringe Statement Earrings

Fringe statement earrings have been extremely popular for a few years now.  They are everywhere!  They are not for the faint of heart as this eye-catching style of earring is sure to stand out, especially if you pick a fun colour.

I love these pink ones from H&M, which also have a cluster of gems.  I like to pair my fringe earrings with basic outfits or neutral colours, so they don't look too over-the-top.

Oversized Cluster Gem Earrings

Oversized cluster gem earrings are another style I love.  All of my gem earrings are clear but you can also find really beautiful coloured earrings (I've linked a few above).

This style of earring is perfect if you're looking to dress up an outfit for a special occasion.  They can add a bit of class and make your entire outfit look more expensive.  A classic white blouse and a pair of clear gem earrings is my go-to look.

DIY Your Own Earring Holder

Last year I created this DIY Luxe Earring Display, which I still use to show off my favourites.  Check out the video below to see how I created it.
