Rebelle, Pink Velvet and Leather
It's safe to say that my unofficial uniform for September & October is a bold graphic t-shirt paired with a fancy skirt, a mix of casual & classy. This Suncoo Mack Rebelle Top from Shea & Ruby is not your average graphic tee, it's made of ultra-soft 100% cotton and the big bold letters have beautiful velvet finish. If you read my last post about velvet biker jackets, you would know that I am completely obsessed with the velvet trend this fall, so obviously, I needed this hot pink velvet midi skirt in my closet.
I took the phrase "Rebelle" from my Suncoo Top and brought it to life in this outfit. I was going for girly, yet badass, which I translated through edgy accessories; fishnet tights, leather jacket, black boots and a vintage belt!
I would consider myself a seasoned online shopper and ever since moving to Kitchener-Waterloo, I have been clicking the checkout button online more frequently as the in-store shopping scene is lacking in quality and variety. That's where Shea & Ruby comes in! The best of both worlds, Shea & Ruby is a local online clothing boutique in Kitchener-Waterloo providing high quality, curated pieces from smaller designers. The ability to shop a variety of brands from various countries, duty-free with fast local shipping is amazing.
Believe it or not, not everybody wants to buy entirely fast fashion. Over the years my closet has shifted more towards higher end, quality pieces that will last me years rather than just a season. I love supporting local businesses whenever possible as it feels like you're buying from a friend. It's way more personal and usually you get better customer service! I would definitely recommend Shea & Ruby if you're looking to expand your closet or to purchase an unforgettable gift this holiday season! I was given a discount code to share with my readers, use code PAIGE for 30% off your order.
